Scrap Club 2012-2013

This year I am going to introduce a new aspect to my classes with a scrap club. I hosted a scrap class in May and it was a success! We all enjoyed ourselves and I realized how much I miss traditional scrapbooking. These scrap classes will be held on a monthly basis and do not require any type of committment. I only require a two week notice in order to prepare supplies and space. Below is more information.

What: Scrap at least 4 pages each month
When: 4th Saturday of every month; our first meeting will be July 28
RSVP: at least 2 weeks in advance; Please RSVP by July 14 if you plan to attend the first meeting
Cost: a flat $15 each month

Monogrammed Cards

I have a friend who recently had a birthday. I personalized this gift tin and some notecards with her initials. It was actually fun putting together and I'm thinking a monogram class may ensue!

Mark your calendars....

I am excited to offer this Fathers Day class. We will be making this mini album that can be used to hold favorite photos of your kiddies, inspirational quotes about dads or even a coupons to be redeemed by dad! The possibilities are endless. I will be helping you create this beauty along with a coordinating card.

The cost of the class is $15. You will receive all the supplies needed to complete this project as well as a package of Vintage Trinkets and half a pack of Nautical Expedition designer series paper. If you bring a friend to the class, the cost will be reduced to $10!! That is an awesome bargain!!

Tin Album Progress!

Tin Album in Progress....

Most of my friends know that we are preparing to move overseas. It is a crazy time in this household right now! Medical appointments, passports and packing, oh my! I had planned on getting a card kit together to sell. I may still do that. My brain is basically all over the place. Right now I am planning two major projects. One is going to be for the Ladies Retreat at my church, West Kingston. I am super excited for that, but I think I will keep that one a surprise.

The other project is a mini scrapbook class. It is one last chance to get together with the wonderful friends I've made here and spend the day creating something fun and beautiful. Here is a preview:

Christmas Card Buffet

I know a lot of people feel they missed out on the creative bug when they were created. However, there is something about Christmas that brings out that creativity in almost all of us! It is so special to be able to give a card to someone you made with your own two hands.
For this holiday season, I am going to be holding a Christmas Card Buffet. At this class, you will be able to choose from several card designs and craft them yourself. While all the details are still being hammered out, below you will see a preview of your choices. What type of Christmas card is your favorite? Are you a traditional gal? Do you prefer modern and funky design? Whatever your style, making cards for your loved ones is an excellent way to unleash that creativity!
