I'm Certified!

It's official! I am certified for My Digital Studio, woohoo! That means if you have any questions about making digital scrapbooks, cards, calendars or even various multiple media projects, I am your girl!

There are SOOO many great reasons to consider My Digital Studio. Now is a great time to ask for that special Christmas gift. Hint, hint Honey!!

Today, I will focus on the scrapbooking option of MDS. I used to be a traditional scrapbooker. I loved it. I loved to put all these pretty little touches on my treasured photos of my husband and my daughters. There were just a few glitches with traditional scrapping. My husband got tired of all the supplies just laying around all the time. I can't blame him really. I did too! But let's face the facts, you just cannot scrapbook without having all your available options right at your fingertips. And that is precisely where My Digital Studio comes in!
My Digital Studio offers THOUSANDS of images to have right at your fingertips. The truth is, all of our photos are already right here on our computer. I'm not knocking traditional scrapbooking here, just pointing out one of the many plusses of MDS.
When using MDS, you pull your photos right off of your hard drive, memory stick or camera itself. It's as easy as drag and drop and you are done. Then the fun begins! You can add background papers in solids or patterns. All of our backgrounds come in Stampin' Ups signature colors too! You can then add embellishments, stamps, mats, and the list goes on! I absolutely adore digital scrapbooking and was THRILLED to learn Stampin' Up was coming out with a program of their own.
If you have ANY questions about My Digital Studio or if you'd like to see a live demonstration or try it out for yourself, please contact me at any time! I'd love to let my passion for MDS inspire you.
If you love MDS, sign up to host a workshop.
If you just can't get enough of MDS, consider signing up to be a demonstrator. Now is a fabulous time to join because the starter kit includes all the MDS software! That is unheard of!!

I love to play at PPA!

This week, our challenge was a color based challenge. I had a lot of fun combining Taken with Teal and Ruby Red. These are two colors I would not have thought to put together on my own.

Two more cards for the Christmas Card Buffet!

I am so looking forward to the Christmas Card Buffet! I love making things for loved ones at Christmas time and this will be the perfect opportunity. I am working on the location and date for our Buffet and it is going to be splendid! If you are interested in joining one or two events, please email me at robyn_lee97@hotmail.com !

Mojo Monday 111 and PPA14

Today's card is two challenges in one. I made it for PPA's "In the Pink" challenge in honor and support of all breast cancer survivors, fighters and victims. I know breast cancer has touched many of you personally. My own grandmother, Momo, is a strong survivor of breast cancer and I greatly admire her and my grandfather, Koko, for their strength and undying faith in God during a hard time. Although I was only nine when she was diagnosed, I will never forget it! To see more about PPA's challenge, visit their site! Pals Paper Arts

I heart this sketch! I had such a good time making the feminine ribbon rose to accompany the beautiful sketch from Country Morning. Do you want to learn how to make these sweet roses to add to your projects? Book a private class or workshop with me today!

Christmas Card Buffet

I know a lot of people feel they missed out on the creative bug when they were created. However, there is something about Christmas that brings out that creativity in almost all of us! It is so special to be able to give a card to someone you made with your own two hands.
For this holiday season, I am going to be holding a Christmas Card Buffet. At this class, you will be able to choose from several card designs and craft them yourself. While all the details are still being hammered out, below you will see a preview of your choices. What type of Christmas card is your favorite? Are you a traditional gal? Do you prefer modern and funky design? Whatever your style, making cards for your loved ones is an excellent way to unleash that creativity!

Rotating Hostess Club

Do you love feeling productive?
Do you enjoy fellowship with other women?
Do you long for a break from everyday life?
Do you like learning new crafting techniques?
Do you love putting together something beautiful?
Do you enjoy creating gifts for friends and family?
Do you like crafting keepsakes for your home?
Do you enjoy receiving free products?
Do you love Stampin' Up or want to know more about it?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, a Rotating Hostess Club may be just the thing for you! Read on to find out more!

What is a Rotating Hostess Club?
A Rotating Hostess Club is a group of women who get together once a month at a set time and day.

What will occur at each meeting?

At each meeting there will be light snacks, refreshments, plenty of conversation and a lot of crafting!
As a demonstrator, I will be providing two free make and take projects. These projects will be completed using Stampin' Up exclusive products and will feature a new technique. Each month, I will be teaching the club a new trend and/or technique in the crafting world.

What will I receive as a member of a Rotating Hostess Club?

As a member of a Rotating Hostess Club, you will:
  • Receive at least two free make and take projects each month.
  • Learn new and exciting techniques to make your cards, scrapbook pages and other crafts stand out exceptionally.
  • Meet new friends!
  • Receive a free Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog. (a $9.95 value!)
  • Be guaranteed to receive at least $15 of free Stampin' Up! merchandise and an exclusive Stampin' Up! hostess stamp set when it is your month to host.
  • Have at least one girls night out each month!
  • Receive sneak peeks of Stampin' Up! products and promotions
What are my responsibilities when it is my month to be a hostess?
When it is your month to be hostess, you are only required to provide light snacks. The meeting may or may not be held in your home. This is up to each individual. If you choose not to hold it in your home, it will be in my home. When it is your month to be hostess, you will receive hostess benefits for that month's meeting.

What does it cost to join a Rotating Hostess Club?
Joining a Rotating Hostess Club is essentially free. However, there is a commitment to purchase a minimum amount of Stampin' Up! products each month. The minimum purchase requirement is dependent on the amount of members in the club. In order to receive hostess benefits, sales must total $150. If there are six members in the club, each member would be required to purchase $25 of merchandise. If there are eight members in the club, each member would then only be required to purchase $18.75 of merchandise. Because of our limited time here in Rhode Island, there is only time for eight meetings before we all move on! If more than eight people are interested, I can hold two separate clubs.

When and where will the first meeting be?
I would like to hold the first meeting in October. Because it is the first meeting, I will be more than happy to hold it in my home. If you are interested in joining some time other than October, please let me know!

What do I need to do if I'd like to join a Rotating Hostess Club?
If you are interested in joining a Rotating Hostess Club or if you'd just like more information, please email me at robyn_lee97@hotmail.com

Mojo Monday.... a week later!!!

Truly, truly I did make this card last Monday... maybe Tuesday. However, due to a last minute, fabulous trip to Texas for THE football game (Texas/Texas Tech), I just had very little time to attend to my blog! So, here is LAST Monday's card and sketch. I had a lot of fun with it!

New Catalog Swaps

I realize I am WAAAAY behind here. I did a new catty swap with some of my sideline sisters and my upline. I chose the Razzle Dazzle stamp set that coordinates most beautifully with the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and the new in colors!
