I received a catalog from Pier 1 last week. The colors and textures on this Daisy Chair were so inspiring to me, I just had to use it to make a card! I thought the colors were perfect for fall. And you'll notice the colors of the daisies match the In Colors just splendidly! If you look closely, you'll also see the sweetest gold swirls in the background. Seeing all of this made my head swirl with inspiration!
To create the stunning texture of this card, I used a technique I learned at a regional event. Using a brayer, I inked up one of Stampin' Ups exclusive background texturz background plates. I ran it through my big shot with some soft suede cardstock and voila! I thought the texture matched the gold swirls of the chair perfectly!
